You can only use two sim cards at a time or one sim card and an SD card. Be careful when you pop open the slot, because the slot faces the floor when you hold the phone in your palm, screen up. Therefore, the contents of the slot can fall to the floor, if you open it up like this.
It's possible that other dual sim phones have this kind of a slot, I would not know. This is the first time I am using a dual sim phone. I am not a very careful person and I have dropped my previous phone a fair few number of times.
